In this session, we will review policy work that has been happening in NYC and beyond, including the work of NYCNoWC’s Advocacy Council, and think together about how worker cooperatives can have more of a role in shaping how it develops. We will also have a chance to give feedback to the organizations that get funded by the NYC City Council to support cooperatives, as they start to plan for their next round of funding applications. Finally, we will get a chance to meet candidates in person and hear their speeches before casting your vote for representatives to the next NYC NoWC board!
