In this event we will explore the relationship between the NYC Worker Cooperative Movement and other movements for justice. How can the cooperative movement support other movements? How can cooperatives be used in other movements to help support their goals? Are there any potential joint issue priorities or joint campaigns we could join? We will begin by exploring some criteria we are thinking about using when choosing which campaigns to join and share more about a few campaigns we have recently joined. We will then have some time in breakout groups to more deeply explore the questions above. Please join us and invite your friends and allies from other movements!
The program will be facilitated in English and Spanish. Food and childcare will be provided. The venue is ADA accessible with both an elevator and wheelchair-accessible bathroom on site.
