During this training, we will learn how to use various tools for both collaboration with our teams, and organizing our broader communities. We will focus on why we use digital tools different roles we can play when using tech tools how to create community remotely and how to use tools over mobile devices with a bilingual community. This training will focus on Zoom, Google Drive and Whatsapp with a few additional tips and tricks. Accessibility Note: This training will be in English and Spanish - with interpretation. Facilitator Bios: Haydi Torres is a volunteer and organizer with Movimiento Cosecha. She organizers and fights so a 9 digit number can't define a person's worth and humanity; Haydi envisions a world without borders, anti-racist, and anti-capitalist. Patricia Murphy is a digital organizer living outside of Boston, MA. She is constantly working to grow our movements and share the stories of those most directly impacted.
