Building a Worker Co-op Policy Platform for NYC

Registration is closed for this event
Worker Owners and partners in NYC have been developing a city level policy platform for the past several years and we want your feedback! The goal of the platform is to provide a guide to current elected officials as well as candidates for the 2021 municipal elections for what is needed in order to support and strengthen existing and future worker cooperatives in NYC. The platform includes demands for direct financing, space, education and training and procurement opportunities for worker coops. In this program we will review the draft city level platform, and have an opportunity to share feedback in advance of its launch in early 2021. We will also host our NYC NOWC board elections.
