The goal of the Worker Owner Gathering series is to provide a cooperative space for worker-owners who are part of an operating co-op to share experiences, brainstorm, and support one another. This fall, the focus of our gathering revolve around membership.
We will explore and share our experiences with membership and explore questions like:
- what systems help onboarding new members?
- how do we find new members?
- how does culture affect new members?
- how do we learn to be a worker owner, if we’ve never been one before?
This worker-owner-only gathering will meet on Friday, October 11th at a Worker Owners home in Clinton Hill Brooklyn at 7pm. Dinner and interpretation will be provided. Children are welcome. RSVP to receive the meet-up location, or contact us for more details.
Note: The apartment where the gathering will be hosted is on a 4th floor walk-up and there are cats.
