It’s been said that “If you don’t have a plan for crisis you don’t have a plan for success”. The question then is – How do we successfully guide our cooperatives through the unknown; embracing each moment as welcome change bringing us closer to our goals

Times of crisis are fantastic opportunities for understanding and progress. During this gathering, we’ll rumble with questions:

  • What do crisis and conflict have to teach us about ourselves and our cooperatives? How does your coop navigate change?
  • How do we prepare ourselves collectively for “failure” and “success”?
  • How do we transform fear and “failure” into new opportunities?
  • Is there a process for moving from grievance and grudges to profitable creativity and joyful collaboration?

These conversations will lead you to a better understanding of non-technical skills crucial for the success of your cooperative.

Please take this awesome Dare to Lead assessment by Brené Brown before the gathering. You will NOT be asked to share your results, unless you want to. If you don’t take the assessment you can still participate in the gathering.

This gathering is for all of us worker-owners so if you have pressing topics to bring to the table, you’re invited to co-create this discussion with us.

Bridge Change is Katarina Spasic, Michael Lightsmith, and Laura Yu. We are a Worker-Owned Cooperative that builds intentional connections between people, ideas, and systems; which are coming together to build a just, joyful, and sustainable economy.

We co-create learning communities, provide consulting services, collaborate on strategic project ventures and sustainable enterprises, and foster communities of practice. Our consulting work is rooted in participatory research serving organizational development, culture change, and demonstrations/interventions on mission and values alignment.
