In this strategy session, we will explore the different public policy initiatives that are currently happening at the city and state level. We will be collecting feedback from worker-owners on City Council’s Workers Cooperative Business Development Initiative (WCBDI. We hope this can become a space where different stakeholders in our ecosystem can collaborate on establishing priorities for NYC NOWC’s newly formed Advocacy Council. Finally, we will be holding in-person elections for our Board of Directors.
